Visit to Cape Coast in January 2020.

Thanks to a generous donation from the Munkee Foundation, we were able to donate an ultrasound to the anesthetist team at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital. Dr. Ryan Meier is demonstrating its use to the anesthetists.

Again, in our fourth mission to Ghana, our team expanded and we began work at the Adehyemba Preparatory School.

In 2016, our group expanded to include anesthesiologists and resident surgeons. Thanks to a generous donation from the Munkee Foundation, we delivered an operating microscope to the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

Our first surgical operations with Dr. Peter Appiah-Thompson were performed at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital in 2015.

We traveled for our initial exploratory mission to Accra, Ghana and Freetown, Sierra Leone.  We met surgeons and assessed local needs and surgical capacity at Korle Bu Hospital and Connaught Hospital.
